Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is hiring a Stocker to transport, stock, and display grocery items while assisting in multiple departments. You will also prepare eCommerce orders for curbside pickup, ensuring freshness and accuracy, and maintaining Vallarta’s safety standards.

The role requires a friendly, service-oriented attitude, basic math, and the ability to operate equipment safely in a fast-paced environment. Weekend/evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Friendly, courteous personality and strong customer service.
• Knowledge of grocery products and store layout.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to operate dollies, pallet jacks, ladders safely.
• Basic math for stocking and transactions.
• Able to work in extreme cold.
• Basic English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock, transport, and display grocery merchandise per company standards.
• Assist with eCommerce order selection and packing for curbside pickup.
• Read order notes and contact customers about substitutions as needed.
• Bag groceries and deliver orders to vehicles.
• Help build and maintain store displays and signage.
• Rotate perishable items and pull out-of-code products.
• Support inventory counts, price marking, and safety procedures.
