Job summary

Kroger is seeking a Store Operations Associate in Utah to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a safe, clean environment. You will assist the department manager in achieving sales goals, stock shelves, and support with displays while following all safety and health regulations.

Responsibilities include answering product questions, stocking and labeling merchandise, and ensuring product quality and proper temperatures.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math including counting, addition and subtraction.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Second language abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an environment where customers feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Recommend items to ensure customer needs are met, including frozen foods.
• Check product quality and freshness, review sell-by dates.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies in ordering/shipping to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
• Maintain temperature logs and sanitation standards.
• Follow all health, civil code regulations and safety programs.
• Assist with displays and stocking per company standards.
• Observe scheduled shift hours and assist with loading and stocking.
