Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read and write to tag merchandise and track inventory.
• Able to lift up to seventy pounds during shifts.
• Able to stand for most of the scheduled work shift.
• Must follow written and verbal instructions.
• Maintain neat, organized store displays and merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading, stocking, and organizing grocery items on shelves and displays.
• Transport stock for storage to the sales floor and open cartons for pricing.
• Keep shelves fully stocked and organized according to planograms and tags.
• Build and maintain store displays, end displays, wing displays and value displays.
• Rotate perishables and remove out-of-code products as needed; manage damaged goods.
• Present assigned section neatly at shift end and check out with the manager.
• Greet customers and respond to inquiries while on the sales floor.
