Whole Foods Market Avon, CT is seeking a friendly Grocery Team Member to support receiving and preparing products, keep the floor stocked, and assist customers with knowledgeable service. You will help with displays, rotating stock, and maintaining cleanliness to meet WFM standards.

The role emphasizes excellent customer interaction, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety regulations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Comfort with basic math and inventory procedures.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and merchandising standards.
• Commitment to customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean and well stocked, front-facing products and checking codes.
• Stock and clean grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy cases.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to supervisors.
• Maintain back stock and assist with sampling areas.
• Complete worksheets for spoilage, temperature, and sweep as required.
• Attend required trainings and perform opening/closing duties as assigned.
