Job summary

Eataly North America is seeking a Grocery Specialist to bridge the Stock team with Grocery/Housewares leadership at our New York market. You will assist with inventory for dry goods, ensure correct signage, and help maintain an organized stockroom for Grocery and Housewares items.

Responsibilities include coordinating monthly promotions, updating displays, and recording daily shift notes while supporting the team in daily operations to enhance guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of experience in a grocery or retail stock position.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Grocery Management to assess inventory needs and assist with placing orders for dry market products.
• Maintain an organized stockroom for Grocery and Housewares items.
• Ensure promotional displays and sale floor signage and tags are accurate.
• Assist in monthly merchandising updates and conduct monthly inventory for Grocery and Housewares.
• Record and email daily shift notes and support other duties as needed.

Job Description

The Grocery Specialist serves as the liaison between the Stock team members and Grocery/House Grocery/Houseware Management. Reports to the Dry Market Manager and Grocery Leads

• Collaborate with Grocery Management to assess and support Grocery and Housewares inventory needs. Assist with placing orders for dry market products and help maintain an organized and efficient stockroom for Grocery and Housewares items
• Ensure all promotional displays and sale floor has proper signage and tags
• Assist in executing and coordinating all monthly promotional merchandising updates throughout the store. Assist with conducting monthly inventory for Grocery and Housewares departments
• Collaborates with the communications department to ensure displays have proper signage
• Records and emails daily shift notes
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of experience in a grocery or retail stock position
• Demonstrated ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions

Job Requirements

• Availability to work flexible hours, including opening, closing and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting

Compensations:The base pay for this position is $18-$20 per hour
