Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Strive to bag at least five items while avoiding damage.
• Follow bagging best practices for reusable, plastic and paper bags.
• Assist in loading bags into customers' cars when possible.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and price checks as needed.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and promotions.
• Return merchandise to store shelves as required.
• Gather and return shopping bascarts to designated areas.
• Clean spills and collect trash inside store and parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside of the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise as needed.
• Know the store layout to locate products and assist with price checks.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to local food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Create a welcoming environment and answer product questions.
• Follow laws and company guidelines; work calmly under pressure.
• Support diverse customers including minors and seniors with courtesy.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
