Job summary

Kroger is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger in Bellevue, NE to deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will bag groceries, assist customers, and maintain a clean, safe store environment while upholding Kroger's values.

We welcome friendly individuals who can work in a fast-paced setting, follow directions, and help customers. Retail experience is a plus; training is provided, with flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Willingness to comply with store policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and assist customers.
• Aim to bag at least five items per bag while ensuring items are not damaged.
• Follow best bagging practices for reusable, plastic and paper bags.
• Assist in removing customer merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas.
• Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and in the parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside of store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Know the store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
