Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger for our Bellevue, WI location. You will create an outstanding customer experience by bagging groceries at checkout, assisting customers, and keeping the store clean and safe.

Responsibilities include bagging, helping load bags into cars, informing customers of specials, stocking shelves, and complying with safety and food safety guidelines. Retail experience is helpful; part-time and full-time options may be available.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Strive to bag at least five items while ensuring contents are not damaged.
• Follow best practices for bagging items in various bag types.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
• Help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Gather bascarts and return to designated areas.
• Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and in the parking lot.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Know the store layout and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to local, state and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
