Responsibilities

• Keeps the Grocery department well stocked, organized and appealing to meet customer demands and maximize sales.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.
• Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure products are properly located on shelves, with correct prices and signs.
• May assist with receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries.
• Handles damaged or discontinued items according to company policy.
• Maintains sanitation in the department to meet health and OSHA requirements.
• Maintains productivity standards and shrink control; follows security regulations.
• May assist with baling cardboard or related duties.
• Ensures smooth function of department by cooperating with co-workers and supervisors.
• Uses PPE provided by the company.
