Job summary

Eataly is hiring a Grocery Sales Associate / Market Associate in Santa Clara, CA to stock, rotate, merchandize and face products in the Housewares and Grocery departments while delivering outstanding guest service. Reports to the Market Manager.

Responsibilities include maintaining back-stock, organizing storage, ensuring attractive displays, following FIFO, and communicating needs to the manager. Position requires onsite work with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous stocking experience in a retail setting preferred.

• Performs light cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting and packaging disposal as necessary.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
• Ability to use a hand truck, cart, box cutter, ladder and cleaning supplies

Compensation: Pay range is set at $19 - $20 an hour.
