Job summary

Safeway is seeking an In Store Shopper to pick high-quality items for online orders, ensuring freshness and accuracy. You will move through the store, bag items, handle substitutions, and coordinate timely handoffs to customers for pickup or delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining order organization, using handheld devices, and following store processes in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and availability for varied shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prior retail, customer service, or fulfillment experience preferred.
• Ability to use handheld devices and follow digital order systems.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Select high-quality items for online orders and ensure accuracy and freshness.
• Keep orders organized and ready for pickup, bag items, and coordinate substitutions.
• Prepare orders for delivery or pickup and hand off to customers on time.
