Job summary

Safeway is hiring an In Store Shopper to select high-quality groceries for online orders and ensure accuracy and freshness. You’ll move through the store, bag items carefully, and coordinate handoffs to customers for timely pickup or delivery.

Responsibilities include organizing orders, managing substitutions, and maintaining speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Prior retail or fulfillment experience is preferred; flexible shifts include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prior retail, customer service, or fulfillment experience preferred.
• Ability to use handheld devices and follow digital order systems; strong attention to detail.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with safety, sanitation, and dress standards.

Responsibilities
