Job summary

Harps Food Stores is seeking a Stocker to support grocery department operations, ensuring readiness, proper stocking, price maintenance, displays, and safe use of equipment. You will participate in inventory processes, assist with merchandising, and uphold department standards.

This role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced retail environment. Preferred is a high school diploma or GED; no previous experience required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities and rapid change.
• Ability to interpret and follow instructions.
• Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Moves and handles merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand and walk continuously during shifts.
• May be exposed to weather and cleaning solvents as part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Support grocery department operations including readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory preparation, department financial goals and objectives, cleanliness, and safe use of equipment.
• Support replenishment and inventory processes including ordering, receiving, invoicing, back stock, and returns.
• Maintain merchandising and sales floor standards, including displays and signing.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relations with customers.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and respectful work environment.
