Job summary

Weis Markets in Hillsborough Township, NJ, is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead all aspects of the Grocery department, supervise associates, schedule shifts, and partner with store management to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

You will manage inventory, merchandising, training, and safety compliance, apply 5S principles, and control expenses while maintaining product availability and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a high school diploma or GED.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business related field desirable.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in management of retail/supermarket environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all aspects of Grocery department operations and may assume store-wide responsibility in absence of management.
• Promotes excellent customer relations and resolves questions and concerns in a polite, professional manner.
• Manages inventory levels, reviews orders, and ensures product availability for customers.
• Schedules associates, coaches performance, and plans workloads including overnight shift if needed.
• Participates in onboarding and conducts associate performance reviews; uses LMS for training.
