Job summary

Fry's Food Stores, based in Arizona, is seeking a department supervisor to lead grocery operations and deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe, clean store environment.

You will direct department activities, supervise staff, manage inventory and pricing, and partner with store leadership to drive sales, budget adherence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Any management experience.
• 1 year of grocery retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the department.
• Support the day-to-day functions of the Grocery operations.
• Plan, organize and supervise the inventory process.
• Schedule daily, weekly and monthly price changes by updating shelf tags and promotional signs.
• Assist store management in preparing the store/department budget, profit and loss reviews.
• Monitor and control expenses for the department.
• Train department associates on inventory/stocking and CAO.
• Collaborate with associates and promote teamwork to help achieve company/store goals.
• Communicate company, department, and job specific information to associates.
• Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.
