Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the Grocery Department to achieve sales, profitability, and customer service objectives.
• Support store operations and provide leadership in the absence of the Store Director.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, priced, rotated, and maintained per standards.
• Monitor inventory, manage product ordering, control shrink, and oversee counts.
• Lead, coach, train, schedule, and develop department associates for service and performance.
• Participate in recruiting, hiring, performance management, and succession planning.
• Analyze sales, labor, and financial metrics and implement improvement plans.
• Resolve customer concerns and promote a culture of exceptional service.
