Albertsons Companies is seeking a Grocery Department Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and maintain in-stock, pricing and merchandising standards in the Grocery Department. You will lead a team, coach staff, and ensure a safe, customer‑focused shopping experience.

This fast‑paced, hands‑on role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage planograms, inventory, and backroom organization while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Grocery Department with a focus on customer service, sales, and department readiness
• Deliver friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are clean, full, front-faced, and merchandised to company standards
• Execute planograms, promotional sets, seasonal transitions, and weekly ad merchandising
• Manage ordering, inventory levels, product rotation, and backroom organization
• Monitor shrink and implement procedures to reduce waste and loss
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and operational standards
• Hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop grocery associates while fostering a positive team environment
