Job summary

Trig's seeks an Assistant Grocery Manager to join our team in northern Wisconsin stores. This role supports unloading deliveries, stocking aisles, maintaining safe storage, and leading department associates to deliver exceptional guest service.

You’ll participate in inventory procedures, promotions execution, end-cap displays, and forklift operation (training provided). We offer health, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO, and associate discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience with unloading deliveries and restocking in a grocery retail setting.
• Ability to coach and lead department associates in stocking and guest service.
• Familiarity with inventory procedures and reporting.
• Willingness to operate a forklift with training provided.
• Strong organizational skills and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading delivery of goods using manual and power jacks.
• Break down deliveries and organize products by aisle for restock.
• Keep storage areas neat, organized, and safe.
• Restock products with proper rotation and dispose of cardboard and plastic.
• Coach and lead department associates in stocking, guest service, and teamwork.
• Operate a cardboard baler to compact cardboard.
• Coordinate sales promotions, events, and displays per weekly plans.
• Work and operate a forklift (training provided).
• Conduct product orders using an order machine.
• Assist with periodic inventory procedures and reporting.
