Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd seeks a Grocery Supervisor to lead store-level execution in merchandising, quality, and financial performance for the Grocery department in Hawaii. You will train and direct store personnel, coordinate with department leadership, and perform store visits to ensure standards are met.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in grocery retail and people management, strong customer service skills, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in grocery retail.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in people management.
• Customer service experience in grocery products.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to travel and have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• TB clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Direct store on achieving financial objectives.
• Ensures merchandising and store conditions are to company standard.
• Acts as a liaison between the department director, district manager and store.
• Responsible for training and directing store personnel on operations and company or department initiatives.
• Conduct store visits and provide support to the store.
