• Achieve budgeted sales, wage percent, and profits for the grocery department.
• Maintain inventory and supplies to maximize sales and minimize excess stock.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operating guidelines.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department and backroom.
• Provide guidance and training to grocery hosts for satisfactory performance.
• Stock shelves and assist guests to meet standards.
• Maintain staffing and scheduling of the department.
• Control shrink through stock loss program implementation.
• Ensure proper pricing and scanning through audits.
• Keep backroom in good order and clean.
• Ensure advertised items are available, signed, and scanning correctly.
• Prepare grocery inventory for counts.
• Collaborate with Store Manager and Receiver on product levels and conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
