Job summary

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one or small group situations.
• Follow written or oral instructions using common sense.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department.
• Assist customers on the store floor as needed.
• Properly bag groceries for customers when needed.
• Carry groceries for customers when requested.
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment at all times.
• Retrieve and manage store carts.
• Run price checks and assist with go-backs.
• Assist with check stand upkeep.
• Remove waste from the parking area.
• Stand, walk, kneel, and perform other physical tasks required in a fast‑paced grocery store environment.
