Job summary

Phoenix-based Chedraui USA is seeking an energized Utilities Clerk to support the store teams in the Produce area and assist customers on the floor. The role starts at $16.00 per hour and requires physical tasks, lifting up to 60 lbs, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Key duties include stocking and organizing carts, assisting with price checks and go-backs, bagging groceries, and providing friendly service.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information effectively to customers and colleagues.
• Regularly lift 25–45 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and assist customers on the store floor as needed.
• Bag groceries for customers when needed and carry out groceries as requested.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs, assist with check‑stand upkeep, and remove waste from the parking area.
• Ensure the store is clean and safe at all times.
• Stand, walk, kneel, lift (up to 60 lbs), and perform other physical tasks required in a fast‑paced grocery store.
