• Ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Basic math skills for everyday transactions and counting.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and teammates.

Responsabilités

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with product questions.
• Gain knowledge of department products and advise customers on options.
• Recommend grocery items and inform customers of specials.
• Check product quality and monitor sell-by dates.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise; ensure freshness.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs.
• Notify management of accidents.
• Report safety risks and illegal activity.
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
