Job summary

Responsibilities

• Suggest grocery items to customers and inform them about specials.
• Check product quality for freshness and review sell-by dates.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise and provide fresh products.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Maintain a positive attitude and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure correct temperatures in cases and coolers.
• Enforce safety programs, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
• Inspect equipment and report items needing repair to management.
• Notify management of accidents and report safety risks or illegal activity.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
