Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers, LLC, is hiring a Merchandiser for Davidson Specialty Foods to ensure local grocery stores have stocked shelves and can supply consumers. Daily travel within the North Shore Boston Metro footprint is required, with mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers.
• Ability to handle difficult customer situations and respond promptly.
• Willingness to solicit customer feedback to improve service.
• Strong communication skills, clear and persuasive in various situations.
• Ability to read and interpret written information and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to local grocery stores and supermarkets within a territory.
• Assist with new display setups and reset existing product displays.
• Pack out grocery orders when needed and ensure shelves are stocked.
• Follow planograms to adjust shelves and move inventory as required.
• Clean, straighten, and organize shelves and maintain store appearance.
• Meet assigned due dates and complete tasks on schedule.
