Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a friendly Team Member to support the Grocery team by stocking shelves, preparing product, and maintaining clean displays in alignment with WFM standards.

You will assist with receiving deliveries, price signs, customer service, and adherence to health and safety regulations. This role requires a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Keeps cases and shelves clean and stocked with front-facing products.
• Stocks and cleans grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program; keeps sample areas full and appealing.
• Completes spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, safety, and weights and measures procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment; maintains equipment per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
