Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead store operations, direct team members, manage inventory, and ensure pricing integrity. This fast-paced role rewards excellence with opportunities to train staff and drive guest service standards.

Qualifications

• Grocery retail management experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and department layouts.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and proactively assist them with accurate and timely service.
• Make recommendations and accommodate guest requests.
• Manage order guides, deadlines, and work to reduce shrink and damage.
• Receive and stock items following rotation standards.
• Direct teams to handle, rest, and merchandise according to company standards.
• Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members on-the-job and via training platforms.
• Occasionally oversee total store operations or act as Manager on Duty (MOD).
