Meijer Inc. is seeking a store leadership candidate to plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day operations across departments. The role mentors teams, drives customer service, and ensures adherence to company standards and safety guidelines.

You will manage staffing, hiring, and succession planning, analyze financial data to inform decisions, and promote the Meijer Friendly Initiative while delivering a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• 1 year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in meat, bakery, produce, deli; helpful for customer service and product flow.
• Clear, precise direction to team members.
• Ability to resolve conflict by root-cause analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial data.
• Experience teaching suggestive selling.
• Ability to mentor SDITs and hourly team members.

Serves as the mentor and coach for all team members. Implements strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales while ensuring customer needs are met and service is quick and efficient.
