Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate for a Manhattan grocery store. The role is full-time with 2pm-10pm shifts and duties include preventing theft, monitoring CCTV, and ensuring safety while delivering customer service.

Ideal candidates have experience in loss prevention, security, or military/law enforcement, with 18+ years of age and a valid driver's license. Candidates must be able to travel within 25 miles and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Prior law enforcement or military experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to drive.
• Ability to travel to stores within 25 miles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loss prevention at a Manhattan grocery store.
• Detect and apprehend suspected shoplifters per policy.
• Monitor CCTV and report incidents to management.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining safety.
• Work 2pm–10pm shifts and travel to nearby stores as needed.
