Meijer is seeking a customer-focused team member at our Indiana location to help create a positive shopping experience and support daily store operations. You will handle tasks, assist customers, and work with leadership to meet store goals.

Responsabilités

• Engaging peers to provide the best possible shopping experience for customers, including an exceptional checkout experience.
• Communicating with team members and assigning daily work tasks.
• Mentoring and coaching other team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Supports training new team members and cross-training high potential talent.
• Collaborating with leadership on department schedules to improve customer service, store sales and profitability.
• Ensuring freshness of products by monitoring rotation and dating policies.
• Guiding the team in food safety standards and safety procedures.
• Leading team members to ensure ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and product display are completed.
• Promoting the Meijer culture and a diverse, inclusive environment.
• Operating a register and cash handling when needed and operating powered equipment as applicable.
• Participating in inventories to help achieve goals.
• May lead in other departments as needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
