Job summary

Eataly North America is opening a new Eataly Houston store and seeks a Grocery Lead to coordinate stock and grocery operations. The role reports to the Grocery Manager and requires ensuring the stock crew is aligned with Eataly standards, coordinating inventory, and aiding with displays and signage.

The position includes collaboration with other departments, daily record-keeping, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of experience in a grocery or retail stock position.
• Great written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures stock crew are in place and grocery section runs to Eataly standards.
• Evaluates grocery needs and inventory; receives requisitions to place orders.
• Collaborates with displays team to ensure signage is correct.
• Records and emails daily shift notes.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

The Grocery Lead serves as the liaison between the stock team members and grocery management. Reports to the Grocery Manager.

• Ensures that the stock crew is in place and grocery section is working according to Eataly’s standards
• Evaluates grocery needs and inventory, as well as receives requisitions from other departments to place orders
• Collaborates with the communications department to ensure displays have proper signage
• Records and emails daily shift notes
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6+ months of experience in a grocery or retail stock position
• Great written and verbal communication skills

Hourly Compensation: $19 - $21
