Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a customer service-minded associate at our Hastings, MI location. This role will bag groceries, assist guests with carry-out, retrieve carts, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment while following safety and guest experience guidelines.

The position emphasizes polite customer interactions, reliable task execution, and teamwork across departments in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries and provide carry-out service to vehicles.
• Retrieve carts and maintain store cleanliness.
• Empty bottle bins and clean bottle machines & return area.
• Ensure department is clean, stocked, and well organized.
• Follow PPE, safety, food safety and guest experience guidelines.
• May assist other departments as needed.
