Job summary

SpartanNash is hiring at our St. Joseph, Michigan location. The role focuses on bagging groceries, providing carry-out service to vehicles, retrieving carts, and performing related duties to support a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, well-stocked department, knowing product locations, and following PPE, safety, and cleaning guidelines. High School Diploma (GED) preferred with good communication and customer interaction skills.

Qualifications

• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries and provide carry-out service to vehicles.
• Empty bottle bins, clean bottle machines and bottle return area.
• Collect, return, clean and organize shopping carts and load groceries into customers’ vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well stocked department.
• Know the location of products and follow safety and cleaning guidelines.
