Job summary

Amazon Inc. in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Area Manager for Grocery Fulfillment Center to lead a team of hourly associates, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and mentor staff during shifts.

You will manage performance, coordinate with Safety, Ops Integration and HR to meet objectives, and adapt to a dynamic, multi-temperature environment with flexible weekend/overnight schedules.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and HR to develop plans to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours, and move as required.
• Work in varying noise levels and temperatures; outdoor and refrigerated environments.
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts).
