Amazon’s Fort Worth Grocery Fulfillment Center seeks an Area Manager to lead hourly staff and drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will engage the team during shifts and ensure customer orders are delivered on time and to the correct location.

You’ll collaborate with Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention, and HR to meet business objectives and sustain multi-temperature operations. The role requires flexible scheduling, including weekends and overnights.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.

• Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.

Area Manager, Grocery Fulfillment Center

We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team as an Area Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of hourly employees and will be responsible for engaging your team during your shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will also play a key part in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location.

Key job responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your team
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with all support teams including Safety, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, as well as continuously climb and descend stairs
• Work in an environment where the noise level varies and is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments, and grocery locations include refrigerated environments)
• Work a flexible schedule (weekends and/or overnight shifts)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
