Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a part-time Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger at our Ripley, WV store. You will bag groceries, assist customers with loading bags into their cars, and help keep shelves stocked and the store clean.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, informing customers about specials, and maintaining a welcoming environment while supporting store operations and teamwork with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
• Able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
• Provide support to customers including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and strive for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
• Assist customers with loading bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to shelves.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and locate products in store.
• Adhere to safety procedures and food safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean store and parking lot, collect trash, and gather bascarts.
