Job summary

The Fresh Grocer is seeking a dedicated Associate to deliver a great customer experience at the front end, assisting customers with groceries and collecting carts. You will help keep the shopping area clean and safe, greet customers, and provide friendly service throughout your shift.

Flexibility to stand for long periods and lift items up to 50 lbs is required, along with a cooperative attitude and adherence to store policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and adhere to schedules.
• Adhere to safety policies and QA standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Collect and return carts from the parking lot and keep aisles clear.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work/shopping environment.
• Remove debris from carts and assist with merchandise handling.
• Perform duties in accordance with company policies and safety rules.
