Job summary

ZippyApp - Recruitment Marketing is seeking a friendly, service-oriented associate to join our retail team in Tennessee. The role involves greeting customers, assisting with product selection, and ensuring accurate checkout.

You will stock shelves, rotate items, and help maintain a neat store environment. Responsibilities include following security procedures, handling bags and carts, and supporting night maintenance as needed.

Job description

Provide excellent customer service to all customers! The associate is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The associate frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to weather conditions.

• Properly handles, counts and enters food stamps, EBT into register system.
• Ensures coupons are valid and properly entered.
• Maintains a neat and organized till.
• Adheres to company policies on the handling and sales of liquor and tobacco.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by manager.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to treat each customer with respect and in a friendly manner. Ability to bag groceries properly. Ability to accurately count back change. Ability to work flexible hours as needed and scheduled. Patience skills in dealing with customers and other individuals. Knowledge of store layout. Ability to handle required lifting duties. Ability and willingness to smile and carry a casual conversation with customers.
