Job summary

Broulim’s is seeking a Night Freight to restock shelves overnight and ensure the store is organized for morning customers. You will unload deliveries, stock and rotate products, and keep aisles clean to deliver a positive shopping experience.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Previous warehouse/stocking experience is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Unload delivery trucks and transport merchandise to the sales floor.
• Stock shelves and displays with new merchandise, ensuring items are neatly arranged and labeled.
• Rotate products so older items are moved to the front and newer items to the back.
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking during off-peak hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in aisles, including sweeping and mopping.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restocking and store organization.

As a Night Freight, you will play a vital role in restocking our shelves and ensuring the store is organized and ready for customers each morning. Your responsibilities will include unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness in the aisles. Examples of Duties:

• Unload delivery trucks and transport merchandise to the sales floor.
• Stock shelves and displays with new merchandise, ensuring items are neatly arranged and properly labeled.
• Rotate products to ensure older items are brought to the front for sale and newer items are placed in the back.
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking activities during off-peak hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the aisles, including sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restocking and organization of the store.

Knowledge:

• Basic knowledge of grocery products and categories.
• Understanding of stocking procedures and merchandising techniques.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines related to handling merchandise.
