Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a department supervisor to lead grocery operations with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will supervise daily activities, train staff, and uphold safety and quality standards to ensure a clean, safe shopping experience. Responsibilities include managing inventory, price changes, budgeting support, and collaboration with management to drive sales and keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Management experience of any kind is acceptable.
• Grocery retail experience is a plus (1 year)

Responsibilities

• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures and logs.
• Train department associates on inventory and CAO processes.
• Plan, organize and supervise the inventory process.
• Schedule price changes and maintain shelf tags and promotions.
• Support store management with budget, P&L reviews and financial reporting.
• Monitor expenses and adapt to promotional plans and campaigns.
• Collaborate with team to achieve store goals and deliver Customer 1st experiences.
• Provide coaching and feedback through performance reviews.
