Qualifications

• Greet customers and handle questions with courtesy.
• Read and follow store policies and procedures.
• Help supervise grocery department staff and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to requests/complaints.
• Assist in hiring, firing, discipline, and evaluation of grocery staff.
• Orient/train new employees and retrain as needed.
• Supervise ordering of groceries to minimize stockouts and maintain inventory turns.
• Oversee backroom prep, loading, stocking, and displays.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety of floors, carts, restrooms and shelves.
• Supervise price marking and signage, and movement of damaged/unsalable items.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed by the Grocery manager.
