Kroger is hiring a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger in Mooresville, IN. You will bag groceries at checkout, assist customers, and help keep shelves and aisles clean and organized. The role requires friendly service, attention to safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger bags groceries at check out for customers.
• Aspires to bag at least five items without damaging contents.
• Follows best practices for bagging items in various bag types (reusable/plastic/paper).
• Assists in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offers to help customers load bags into their car.
• Performs basic shelf conditioning.
• Informs customers of grocery specials.
• Returns merchandise to store shelves.
• Gathers bascarts and returns them to designated areas.
• Cleans spills and collects trash inside store and parking lot.
• Cleans all areas inside and outside of store.
• Handles and assembles seasonal merchandise.
• Understands store layout, locates products, and conducts price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforces safety programs and reports unsafe conditions to management.
• Adheres to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Practices preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reports repairs.
• Creates an environment where customers feel welcome and valued.
• Follows local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage conflicts calmly and cooperatively.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity about customer and business information.
