Job summary

Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk informs customers of specials and recommends items to meet their needs.
• Check product quality to ensure freshness and review sell-by dates.
• Provide customers with requested grocery items, both fresh and non-perishable.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
• Keep up-to-date with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and temperature logs.
• Assist customers with product questions and make recommendations.
• Communicate with management about discrepancies in ordering or shipping.
