Job summary

You will answer questions about products, stock shelves, operate registers when needed, and help train new associates while upholding the company values of respect, honesty, integrity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create an environment that makes customers feel welcome and appreciated by answering questions about products.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Stock grocery products in correct locations.
• Pull down and condition Grocery products.
• Unload Grocery loads from semi-trailers using equipment.
• Sort load merchandise for stocking.
• Open boxes for stocking and prepare pallets.
• Transfer merchandise through store on U-boats.
• Rotate perishable items and monitor codes.
• Check-in vendors and verify incoming orders.
• Count inventory in backroom and build displays.
• Check out customers on registers as needed.
• Assist in training new associates.
• Reinforce safety programs and report hazards.
• Notify management of accidents or safety risks.
