Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Aim for five items per bag and avoid damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging with different bag types.
• Assist customers by unloading merchandise from cart for checkout.
• Offer to help load bags into customers' cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Collect bascarts and return to designated areas.
• Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and in the parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside store.
• Handle and display seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout and locate products; conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and report any repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with questions.
