Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout and assist customers.
• Aim for at least five items per bag and prevent damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging with reusable/plastic/paper bags.
• Assist in removing items from carts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and arrange products neatly.
• Inform customers of grocery specials and promotions.
• Return merchandise to store shelves as needed.
• Collect bascarts and return them to designated areas.
• Clean spills and pick up trash inside store and in parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout to locate products and conduct price checks.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Provide friendly service to make customers feel welcome and valued.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage conflicts in a calm, cooperative manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
