Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at check out for customers.
• Aim for at least five items per bag and prevent damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging with reusable/plastic/paper bags.
• Assist customers by removing merchandise from bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to load bags into customers' cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves.
• Gather bascarts and return them to designated areas.
• Clean spills and collect trash inside store and parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside of store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Know store layout and locate products; conduct price checks.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting repairs.
• Create welcoming environment and assist with product questions.
• Follow local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Ability to work cooperatively in fast-paced and stressful environments.
• Ability to manage conflict calmly and cooperatively.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
