Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Aim to bag at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging with reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts for storage.
• Clean spills and trash inside store and parking lot.
• Maintain clean areas inside and outside store; handle seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Enforce safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain equipment.
