Job summary

Kroger Co. is hiring a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger at 650 Q St, Springfield, OR. You will bag groceries at checkout, help customers load bags, and keep shelves organized. As part of Kroger’s store operations, you will participate in maintaining cleanliness, assisting with seasonal merchandise, and supporting cashiers to ensure a smooth shopping experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Strive to bag at least five items without damaging contents.
• Follow best practices for bagging in different bag types (reusable/plastic/paper).
• Assist customers by loading bags into their car when needed.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather/buss carts.
• Keep store and parking lot clean; report unsafe conditions.
