You will schedule staff, train team members, and guide promotions while ensuring food safety standards are followed and departmental profits are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists in scheduling, staffing selection, and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning by providing career paths and development.
• Supports disciplinary actions and makes recommendations concerning discharge.
• Attain P&L budgeted goals, achieving sales, labor and margin plans for the department.
• Models fast, friendly customer service and ensures department cleanliness.
• Ensures backroom is neat, organized and products are properly priced and displayed.
• Maintains compliance with food safety and training requirements.
